The highlight of the year is the annual April Flower Show, which
has been held every year since 1913. State certified judges award 1st,
2nd, and 3rd place ribbons and prizes in categories ranging from single
horticultural specimens to advanced flower arrangements. All are encouraged to enter. Concurrent with the Flower Show is the Garden Tour which showcases local residential gardens and civic landscapes. Ticket prices for both the Flower Show and Garden Tour are $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students(under 18) and seniors, children 12 and under are free with an adult. A Plant Sale of Uncommon Materials is also held at Prospect Park. |
